Apple and thyme compote

Ingredients

for 2 person

Syrup
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp water
3 tbsp lemon juice
Compote
1 tbsp liquid honey
1 tbsp dark sultana
apples, cut into segments
5 sprig thyme
a little  cinnamon

How it's done

Syrup

Boil the sugar and water in a wide-bottomed pan without stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer, shaking the pan occasionally until a light brown caramel has formed. Add the lemonjus, remove the pan from the heat, continue stirring until the caramel has dissolved.

Compote

Add the honey, sultanas, apples, thyme and cinnamon, mix. Place everything in an ovenproof dish.

Bake for approx. 12 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove from the oven and allow to cool a little.
