Ingredients

for 4 portions

To coat the feta
2  feta (each approx. 200 g)
1  egg, beaten
60 g sesame seeds
40 g white flour
To fry the feta
¾ dl olive oil
Salad
500 g different coloured cherry tomatoes, cut in half
3  peaches, cut into wedges
1  red onion, cut into thin rings
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
a little  pepper
1 tbsp liquid honey
3 sprigs peppermint, leaves torn off

How it's done

To coat the feta

Pat the feta dry with kitchen paper. Place the egg in a deep dish, place the sesame seeds and flour in two separate shallow dishes. Toss the feta in the flour and shake off the excess. First dip the feta in the egg, then in the sesame seeds, pressing firmly on the coating.

To fry the feta

Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, fry the feta on all sides for approx. 2 mins. each, remove, drain on kitchen paper.

Salad

Serve the tomatoes, peaches and onion on a platter. Whisk the lemon juice and oil, season, drizzle over the salad. Cut the feta in half, serve on top of the salad, drizzle with the honey, garnish with the mint.
