Grilled cheese sandwiches with jam

Savoury meets sweet! We're thrilled by this combination of a crispy, buttery texture with aromatic rosemary, melted cheese and sweet blackberry jam.

Ingredients

for 4 pieces

Sandwiches
50 g grated mozzarella
50 g grated Gruyère
50 g grated Sbrinz
8 slice brioche bread or zopf
4 tsp blackberry jam
To fry
2 tbsp clarified butter
4 sprig rosemary

How it's done

Sandwiches

Mix the cheese, spread on four slices of bread. Spread the remaining slices of bread with the jam, then place them on top with the jam side facing down.

To fry

Heat 1 tbsp of clarified butter in a wide non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, add half of the rosemary. Cover and fry the sandwiches for approx. 3 mins. Turn the sandwiches, add the remainder of the clarified butter and rosemary, cover and fry for approx. 3 mins.
