Apple marshmallows

Two ingredients! That's all you need to create these fruity, light and fluffy marshmallows. Each one is bursting with intense apple flavour. A natural alternative to traditional sweets that will delight young and old alike.

Ingredients

for 16 pieces

Apple mixture
600 g apples, peeled, deseeded, diced
1 dl water
12 leaf gelatine, immersed in cold water for approx. 5 mins., drained

How it's done

Apple mixture

Bring the apples and water to the boil in a pan. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer over a medium heat for approx. 20 mins. until soft, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, puree the mixture. Stir the gelatine into the hot apple mixture, then transfer to a bowl. Using the whisk on a mixer, beat the mixture for approx. 20 mins. until white and foamy. Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin, smooth down. Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 3 hrs.

Marshmallows

Turn the apple mixture out onto a chopping board, remove the baking paper, cut into cubes.
