Kiwi bread slices

Ingredients

for 2 person

Bread
fresh egg
1 dl single cream
½ dl water
150 g wholegrain bread , in 4 slices
To fry
1 tbsp clarified butter
2 tbsp sugar
To serve
kiwis, in slices
1 dl single cream, beaten until light and frothy
2 tbsp coconut chipsko, roasted, coarsely chopped

How it's done

Bread

Place the egg, cream and water in a deep plate and mix well. Add the slices of bread and leave to soak for about 2 minutes, turning once.

To fry

Heat the clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, drain the slices of bread and place them in the pan, fry on both sides for about 2 mins. until golden brown. Remove, coat in sugar.

To serve

Arrange the kiwis on the slices of bread, garnish with a little cream, and sprinkle coconut chips on top. Serve the remaining cream on the side.
