Kiwi bread slices
Ingredients
for 2 person
| 1 | fresh egg |
| 1 dl | single cream |
| ½ dl | water |
| 150 g | wholegrain bread , in 4 slices |
| 1 tbsp | clarified butter |
| 2 tbsp | sugar |
| 2 | kiwis, in slices |
| 1 dl | single cream, beaten until light and frothy |
| 2 tbsp | coconut chipsko, roasted, coarsely chopped |
How it's done
Bread
Place the egg, cream and water in a deep plate and mix well. Add the slices of bread and leave to soak for about 2 minutes, turning once.
To fry
Heat the clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, drain the slices of bread and place them in the pan, fry on both sides for about 2 mins. until golden brown. Remove, coat in sugar.
To serve
Arrange the kiwis on the slices of bread, garnish with a little cream, and sprinkle coconut chips on top. Serve the remaining cream on the side.
