Vol-au-vents with pea sauce
Ingredients
for 2 people
| 4 | vol-au-vents |
| ½ tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 | onion, finely chopped |
| 80 g | ham cubes |
| 2 dl | single cream for sauces |
| ½ dl | water |
| 1 tin | peas (approx. 420 g), rinsed, drained |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
How it's done
Vol-au-vents
Carefully remove the lids from the vol-au-vents. Heat the vol-au-vents according to the packet instructions.
Sauce
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onion, sauté for approx. 3 mins. Add the ham, cook for approx. 2 mins. Pour in the single cream and water, bring to the boil. Add the peas, heat through, season.
To serve
Plate up the vol-au-vents, spoon the pea sauce into them and place the vol-au-vent lids on top.
