Iced coffee with lemon zest

Lemon zest in coffee? Sounds unusual, but it works brilliantly! The subtle citrus note complements the coffee flavour wonderfully and is sure to surprise your guests at your next coffee meet-up. Give it a try and see for yourselves!

Ingredients

for 1 glass

organic lemon
2 tsp maple syrup
espressos
2 dl oat drink
some  ice cubes

How it's done

Thinly peel 1/4 of the lemon zest using a peeler. Rub the rim of the glasses with a slither of lemon zest. Cut the lemon zest into thin strips and add to the glasses with the maple syrup. Pour in the espresso and oat milk, stir. Top up the glasses with ice.
