Udon with chicken

Ingredients

for 4 people

Udon
600 g precooked Udon noodles
  water, boiling
Chicken
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
400 g chicken leg pieces, cut into approx. 2 cm pieces
½ tsp salt
400 g savoy cabbage, cut into approx. 5 cm pieces
¾ dl Teriyaki sauce
3 dl water
1 tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
a little  pepper
To serve
1 bunch chives, finely chopped

How it's done

Udon

Prepare the udon noodles according to the instructions on the packaging in boiling water, drain.

Chicken

Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Add the chicken, fry for approx. 8 mins. Add the savoy cabbage, fry for approx. 5 mins. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and water, cover and simmer for approx. 5 mins. Add the noodles and tahini to the noodles, briefly heat while stirring until the noodles are hot, then season.

To serve

Arrange the udon noodles in bowls and sprinkle chives on top.
