Beer & cheese toasties
Ingredients
for 8 pieces
| 300 g | nut bread, cut into 8 slices |
| ½ dl | non-alcoholic beer (e. g. Feldschlösschen Peach 0.0%) |
| 300 g | Alpine cheese, coarsely grated |
| ¾ tsp | fennel seeds, coarsely crushed |
| 2 | red onions, cut into wedges |
| 1 bunch | chives, finely chopped |
| a little | pepper |
How it's done
Cheese toasties
Place the slices of bread on a baking tray lined with baking paper, drizzle with the beer. Mix the cheese and fennel seeds, spread on top of the slices of bread along with the onions.
To bake
Approx. 10 mins. in the upper half of an oven preheated to 220 °C. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with the chives, season.
