Entrecôte with cherry-blackberry salsa

Ingredients

for 4 people

Salsa
300 g cherries, pitted, halved
125 g blackberries, cut in half
red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped
garlic clove, squeezed
2 tbsp olive oil
organic lime, a little grated zest, the whole juice
3 sprig basil, finely chopped
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
a little  pepper
Entrecôtes
1 tbsp olive oil
beef entrecôtes (each approx. 180 g)
½ tsp salt
a little  pepper

How it's done

Salsa

In a bowl, mix the bread with all the other ingredients up to and including the pepper.

Entrecôtes

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Season the meat, fry for approx. 2 mins. on each side. Remove, wrap in foil, leave to rest for approx. 5 mins. Carve the meat and serve with the salsa.
