Spicy cherries with yoghurt
Ingredients
for 2 person
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 | onion, finely chopped |
| 2 | garlic cloves, squeezed |
| 300 g | cherries, pitted, halved |
| 2 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
| 2 tbsp | water |
| ¼ tsp | chilli flakes |
| ¾ tsp | salt |
| 180 g | plain yoghurt |
| 4 sprig | basil, leaves torn off |
How it's done
Cherries
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the onion and garlic, sauté for approx. 4 mins. Add the cherries and cook briefly. Add the balsamic and all the other ingredients up to and including the salt, simmer for approx. 2 mins. Remove the pan from the heat, allow to cool slightly.
To serve
Spread the yoghurt on a platter, arrange the cherries and basil on top.
