Earl Grey ice cream
Ingredients
for 4 people
| 5 dl | full cream |
| 1 ½ tbsp | Fine Food Bergamot Earl Grey |
| 180 g | sweetened condensed milk |
| 1 parcel | vanilla sugar |
| a little | Fine Food Bergamot Earl Grey |
How it's done
Cream
Pour the cream into a pan, bring to the boil. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the teabags, cover and allow to steep for approx. 10 mins. Pour the cream through a sieve into a chrome bowl, leave to cool.
Ice cream
Add condensed milk and vanilla sugar to the cream in the bowl, mix well, cover, and freeze for approx. 6 hrs., stirring thoroughly with a whisk 4 times.
To serve
Remove the ice cream from the freezer, let it sit for approx. 10 mins., shape into 8 balls using an ice cream scoop, serve in bowls, sprinkle lightly with Earl Grey tea.
