Sesame carrots with whipped tahina
Ingredients
for 4 people
| 500 g | carrots, cut lengthways into six pieces |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| ½ tsp | ras el hanout |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 1 tbsp | sesame seeds |
| 125 g | plain organic cream cheese |
| 2 tbsp | tahini (sesame paste) |
| 3 sprig | coriander, leaves torn off |
How it's done
Carrots
Place the carrots on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Drizzle with oil, mix, season.
To bake
Approx. 25 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
To serve
Place the cream cheese and 1½ tbsp tahina in a bowl, mix until smooth. Spread the cream cheese on a large plate, arrange the carrots on top, and garnish with coriander and the remaining tahina.
