Strawberry okara brownies
Ingredients
for 16 pieces
| 100 g | butter, cut into pieces |
| 100 g | milk chocolate, coarsely chopped |
| 100 g | dark chocolate, coarsely chopped |
| 100 g | sugar |
| 3 | eggs, beaten |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 75 g | white flour |
| 75 g | Okara (Nice, see note) |
| 2 tbsp | cocoa powder |
| ½ tsp | baking powder |
| 250 g | strawberries, quartered |
| 100 g | hazelnuts, roasted, coarsely chopped |
How it's done
Chocolate
Melt the butter in a pan over a medium heat. Remove the pan from the heat. Mix both types of chocolate, add 150 g to the butter, melt, stir until smooth, set aside the remaining chocolate. Add the sugar, eggs and salt to the pan with the butter, whisk together.
Batter
Mix the flour, okara, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl, then add to the chocolate mixture and mix. Add the strawberries and hazelnuts, mix. Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin, arrange the reserved chocolate on top.
To bake
Approx. 35 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly in the tin, remove from the tin along with the baking paper, place on a cooling rack and cut into squares.
