Potato cakes with ham
Ingredients
for 2 people
| 500 g | waxy potatoes, coarsely grated |
| 1 | egg |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| oil for frying |
| 150 g | burrata, torn into pieces |
| 100 g | ham in slices |
| 25 g | garden cress |
How it's done
Potato cakes
Preheat the oven to 60 °C, warm the platter and plates. Place the potatoes in a bowl along with all the other ingredients up to and including the pepper, mix well. Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties. Heat a dash of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat, fry the potato cakes in batches over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins. on each side. Remove, keep warm.
To serve
Plate up the potato cakes, top with burrata, ham, and cress.
