Spicy Korean Gochujang Beef Noodles
Ingredients
for 4 people
| 250 g | ramen noodles |
| salted water, boiling |
| 1 tbsp | peanut oil |
| 400 g | leek, cut into thin slices |
| 2 | garlic cloves, squeezed |
| ½ dl | soy sauce |
| 2 ½ tbsp | Gochujang paste (chili paste) |
| 1 tbsp | peanut oil |
| 250 g | beef strips (à la minute) |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
How it's done
Noodles
Cook the ramen noodles in simmering water for approx. 3 mins. until just al dente, set aside approx. 300 ml of the cooking water, drain the noodles.
Sauce
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the leek and garlic, sauté for approx. 5 mins. Add the soy sauce and Gochujang paste with the reserved cooking water, mix, bring to the boil.
Meat
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the meat, fry for approx. 2 mins. Remove, season the meat with salt, add to the sauce along with the noodles, heat gently.
