Ingredients

for 12 pieces

Muffin mixture
120 g butter, soft
150 g sugar
¼ tsp salt
eggs
1 ½ dl milk
180 g white flour
50 g ground hazelnuts
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
200 g dark chocolate (64% cocoa), coarsely chopped

How it's done

Muffin mixture

Place the butter, sugar and salt in a bowl, mix using the whisk attachment on a mixer. Whisk in the eggs and milk and continue to whisk until the mixture becomes lighter in colour. Mix the flour, nuts and baking powder, add to the dough. Mix in ⅔ of the chocolate, transfer the mixture to the prepared muffin tin. Scatter the remaining chocolate over the top.

To bake

Approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Take the muffins out of the oven, allow to cool slightly, remove from the tin and leave to cool on a rack.
