Blueberry sour
Ingredients
for 1 glass
½ dl | water |
50 g | frozen blueberries |
40 g | sugar |
5 cl | gin |
3 cl | lemon juice |
1 | fresh egg white |
some | ice cubes |
some | edible flowers |
How it's done
Blueberry syrup
Place the water, blueberries and sugar in a pan, bring to the boil. Simmer uncovered for approx. 10 mins. until reduced to a syrupy consistency, leave to cool. Pour the syrup through a sieve into the shaker (makes approx. 2½ tbsp of syrup).
Cocktail
Pour the gin, lemon juice and egg white into the shaker. Top up the shaker with ice cubes, shake well for approx. 30 secs.
To serve
Pour the cocktail through a fine sieve into the glass, garnish with flowers.
