Ingredients

for 1 person

Bacon
2 slice bacon
Cocktail
5 cl Säntis Malt Whisky Himmelberg
3 drop Angostura Bitter
1 cl maple syrup
some  ice cubes
To serve
organic lemon, a little zest peeled with a peeler

How it's done

Bacon

Fry the bacon in a non-stick frying pan slowly until crispy, without adding any oil. Remove and drain on paper towels, allow to cool.

Cocktail

Finely grate 1 slice of bacon, place in a measuring cup. Add the whisky, Angostura and maple syrup, stir well, leave to infuse for approx. 3 mins. Add several ice cubes, shake well for approx. 30 secs. Place several ice cubes in the glass, pour the cocktail into the glass through a fine sieve.

To serve

Decorate the cocktail with the lemon zest and bacon slice.
