Blackberry spritz

Ingredients

for 1 glass

Ice cubes
30 g blackberries
some  edible flowers
1 ½ dl water
Blackberry syrup
½ dl water
50 g blackberries
20 g sugar
Cocktail
4 cl gin
1 tsp lemon juice
1 dl mineral water
To serve
some  blackberries

How it's done

Ice cubes

Divide the blackberries and flowers between the ice cube moulds, fill with water, cover and freeze for approx. 12 hrs. or overnight.

Blackberry syrup

Place the water, blackberries and sugar in a pan, bring to the boil. Cover and reduce to a syrupy consistency for approx. 10 mins., leave to cool. Pour the liquid through a sieve and into the glass (approx. 2½ tbsp of juice).

Cocktail

Add the gin and lemon juice, mix well. Add several ice cubes, top up with mineral water.

To serve

Garnish the cocktail with blackberries.
