Pasta with green beans
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 400 g | pasta (e.g. conchiglioni) |
| salted water, boiling | |
| 500 g | green beans, prepared |
| 3 dl | tomato sauce |
| ½ tsp | cinnamon |
| 1 tbsp | butter |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 50 g | almonds, roasted |
| 50 g | Pecorino, crumbled |
How it's done
Pasta and beans
Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Remove the pasta with a slotted spoon, drain, set aside approx. 100 ml of the cooking water. Add the beans to the same pan of boiling water, cook for approx. 10 mins. Drain the beans, pour the reserved cooking water back into the pan.
Tomato sauce
Add the tomato sauce and cinnamon to the cooking water, heat while stirring. Return the pasta and beans to the pan, mix together. Mix in the butter, season.
To serve
Plate up the pasta, sprinkle with the almonds and pecorino.
