Strawberry muffins with white chocolate
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
125 g | butter, soft |
150 g | sugar |
2 | eggs |
120 g | white flour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1 pinch | salt |
50 g | strawberries, cut into small pieces |
50 g | white chocolate, cut into small pieces |
some | strawberries, to decorate |
a little | icing sugar, to dust |
How it's done
Batter
Mix the butter and sugar using the whisk attachment on a mixer. Add the eggs one at a time and continue to beat until the mixture becomes lighter in colour. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt, mix in. Carefully fold in the strawberries and chocolate. Transfer the mixture to the prepared tin.
To bake
Approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove from the oven, leave to cool on a rack.
To decorate
Decorate the muffins with the strawberries and dust with icing sugar.
