Basil granita
Ingredients
for 4 people
| 5 dl | water |
| 100 g | icing sugar |
| 2 | organic limes, grated zest and the juice |
| 2 ½ bunch | basil |
| 1 | organic lime, sliced |
| 2 sprig | basil, leaves torn off |
How it's done
Granita
Place the water in a measuring cup along with all the other ingredients up to and including the basil, puree. Pour the mixture into a wide, flat stainless steel container, cover and freeze for approx. 4 hrs. Scrape out the granita with a fork until grainy, cover and freeze for a further 2 hours.
Scrape out the granita once again, divide into bowls, garnish with lime and basil.
