Vegan banana waffles
Ingredients
for 8 pieces
| 2 | ripe bananas, crushed |
| 2 dl | almond drink |
| 2 tbsp | coconut oil, melted |
| 2 tbsp | maple syrup |
| 100 g | gluten-free wholegrain rolled oats |
| 100 g | ground almonds |
| 1 tbsp | coconut oil |
How it's done
Batter
Combine the bananas, almond drink, oil and maple syrup in a bowl. Add the oat flour and almonds, beat using the whisk on a mixer to make a smooth batter.
To bake
Heat the waffle iron, brush with a little coconut oil. Spoon approx. 2 heaped tablespoons of batter onto the waffle iron, cook for approx. 3 mins. Remove the waffles, place on a cooling rack. Repeat these steps with the remainder of the batter, serve the waffles warm.
