Pizza with a twist! The base is made from deliciously seasoned cauliflower. This is the perfect side dish for when you're in a hurry or when you want to serve up an unusual appetizer your guests have never had before! As an added plus, these mini pizzas are gluten-free thanks to the cauliflower base.

Ingredients

for 4 people

Cauliflower marinade
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
a little  pepper
cauliflower (approx. 1 kg), cut into slices approx. 1½ cm thick
Topping
200 g tomato sauce
5 tbsp grated mozzarella

How it's done

Cauliflower marinade

Pour the oil into a small bowl along with all the other ingredients up to and including the paprika, mix and season. Brush both sides of the cauliflower slices with the marinade, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

To bake

Approx. 12 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove.

Topping

Top the cauliflower slices with the tomato sauce and cheese.

Return to the oven
