Almond blondies with oranges
Ingredients
for 16 pieces
| 50 g | butter |
| 200 g | white chocolate, finely chopped |
| 3 | eggs |
| 100 g | white almond cream |
| 100 g | sugar |
| ½ tsp | bourbon vanilla powder |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 120 g | white flour |
| 100 g | shelled ground almonds |
| 1 | orange, thinly sliced |
| 1 tbsp | white almond cream |
How it's done
Chocolate
Melt the butter in a pan. Remove the pan from the heat, add 150 g of chocolate, stir until smooth. Set aside the remainder of the chocolate.
Batter
Mix the eggs with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Stir in the melted chocolate. Combine the flour and almonds, mix in, transfer the batter to the prepared tin. Sprinkle with the reserved chocolate. Arrange the orange slices on top.
To bake
Approx. 40 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin. Cut into 16 slices, drizzle with the almond butter.
