The colder months are upon us and nothing warms us up better than a delicious mocha latte enhanced with the flavours of Christmas. This festive creation combines the powerful taste of espresso with the velvety sweetness of chocolate and the creamy texture of frothy oat drink. I love to drink my mocha latte in the afternoon with a delicious slice of cake and enjoy the moment.

Ingredients

for 4 people

Mocha latte
4 dl oat drink (Barista)
espressos
40 g vegan dark chocolate, finely chopped
2 tbsp chocolate powder
1 tsp gingerbread spice
Serve
4 dl plant-based cream (whippable)
a little  chocolate powder
vegan biscuits (e.g. Spekulatius), crumbled

How it's done

Mocha latte

Heat the oat drink in a pan. Add the espresso, chocolate, chocolate powder and gingerbread spice, whisk until light and frothy using the whisk on a mixer.

Serve

Pour the mocha latte into glasses or mugs, top with the cream. Sprinkle the chocolate powder and biscuit crumbs on top.
