Ingredients

for 4 people

Apples
apples (approx. 130 g each)
120 g biscuits (e.g. sablés)
1 dl full cream
1 ½ dl apple juice
20 g knobs of butter
To bake
  icing sugar, to dust
200 g double cream

How it's done

Apples

Halve the apples, remove the cores.

Place the biscuits in a freezer bag, crush with a rolling pin. Mix the crushed biscuits with the cream in a bowl, spread on top of the apples.

Place the apples on the prepared tray, pour in the apple juice, top the apples with knobs of butter.

To bake

Approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove. Dust the apples with icing sugar, serve with double cream.
