Quinoa porridge with pears

Ingredients

for 4 people

Porridge
6 dl water
1 pinch salt
60 g quinoa tricolore
pear, coarsely grated
50 g dried apricots (sweet), coarsely chopped
1 tbsp birnel (pear syrup)
100 g whole-grain rolled oats
180 g plain yoghurt
½ tsp ginger powder
To serve
pear, in slices
2 tbsp almond slivers, roasted
a little  birnel (pear syrup)

How it's done

Porridge

Place the water and salt in a pan, bring to the boil. Add the quinoa, pear, apricots and pear syrup, cover and simmer for approx. 15 mins., stirring occasionally. Add the oats, simmer for approx. 10 mins., mix in 2 tbsp of yoghurt and the ground ginger.

To serve

Plate up the porridge. Top with the remainder of the yoghurt and pear slices. Sprinkle with the almonds, drizzle with the pear syrup.
