Ingredients

for 15 pieces

Dough
50 g butter, soft
50 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1 pinch salt
egg
organic orange, use a little grated zest
100 g white flour

How it's done

Dough

Place the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt in a bowl, mix using the whisk on a mixer. Mix in the egg and continue to beat until the mixture becomes lighter in colour. Mix in the orange zest and flour, cover the dough and chill for approx. 30 mins.

Shape

Shape the dough into approx. 15 walnut-sized balls, place on the hot waffle iron in batches, cook for approx. 45 secs. Leave the biscuits to cool on a cooling rack.
