Winzerfladen
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
| 500 g | white flour |
| 1 ½ tsp | salt |
| 1 tsp | sugar |
| ½ cube | yeast (approx. 20 g) |
| 3 dl | water |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| a little | white flour |
| 200 g | sour single cream |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 250 g | blue grapes, cut in half |
| 1 | red onion, cut into thin slices |
| ¼ bunch | thyme, leaves torn off |
How it's done
Dough
Mix the flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Pour in the water and oil, mix and knead to form a soft, smooth dough. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for approx. 1 hr. until doubled in size.
Shape
Divide the dough into 12 portions and shape into balls. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into flatbreads (each approx. 10 cm in diameter). Place the flatbreads on two trays lined with baking paper.
Topping
Season the sour single cream, spread on top of the flatbreads. Add the grapes and onions, sprinkle the thyme on top.
Bake
Approx. 30 mins. in an oven preheated to 200 °C (fan).
