Lemon granita

Ingredients

for 4 people

Granita mixture
3 ¾ dl water
150 g sugar
2 dl lemon juice
Serve
½  organic lemon, in slices

How it's done

Granita mixture

Bring the water and sugar to the boil, reduce the heat, simmer until the sugar has melted. Remove the pan from the heat, mix in the lemon juice.

Freeze

Pour the mixture into a stainless steel bowl, leave to cool, cover and freeze for approx. 8 hrs. Chop the granita into pieces, puree, freeze for a further 30 mins.

Serve

Divide the granita into glasses, decorate with the lemon slices, serve immediately.
