Frozen strawberry bites
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
120 g | fine whole-grain rolled oats |
80 g | cashew nuts, roasted, coarsely chopped |
1 dl | elderflower syrup |
1 pinch | salt |
150 g | strawberries, cut into pieces |
250 g | half-fat quark |
1 tbsp | elderflower syrup |
How it's done
Base
Mix the oats, nuts, syrup and salt, transfer to the prepared tin.
Bites
Puree the strawberries, combine 100 g with the quark and syrup, spread on top of the oat base. Top with the remainder of the strawberry puree, create a marble effect using the handle of a wooden spoon, cover and freeze for approx. 4 hrs.
Serve
Remove the strawberry bites from the freezer approx. 10 mins. prior to serving.
