Chai latte
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 2 | cinnamon sticks |
| 2 | cloves |
| 3 | star anise |
| 3 | cardamom pods, crushed |
| 6 dl | water |
| 2 tbsp | cane sugar |
| 1 cm | ginger, in slices |
| 2 bag | black tea |
| 6 dl | milk |
| 1 tsp | cinnamon |
How it's done
Tea
Toast the cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise and cardamom in a pan. Add the water and sugar, bring to the boil. Add the ginger and black tea, cover and leave to infuse for approx. 10 mins. Strain the tea, pour back into the pan, bring to the boil once more, pour into glasses.
Serve
Heat the milk in the same pan, whisk until frothy, pour on top of the tea. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
