Ingredients

for 3 dl

Sauce
2 dl soy sauce
1 dl sake (rice wine)
1 dl mirin (rice wine)
1 dl chicken bouillon
20 g cane sugar
1 tbsp Maizena cornflour
2 tbsp water

How it's done

Sauce

Pour the soy sauce into a pan along with all the other ingredients up to and including the sugar, mix and bring to the boil. Simmer and stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved completely. Mix the cornflour with the water, pour into the sauce while stirring, reduce to 300 ml for approx. 10 mins., leave to cool.
