Corn cobs with onion topping
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 ½ tbsp | liquid honey |
| 2 | red onions, cut into thin slices |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 4 | corn cobs |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
| 1 dl | sour single cream |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| ½ tsp | pink peppercorn |
| 4 sprig | oregano, leaves torn off |
How it's done
Onions
Combine the oil and honey, mix in the onions, season with salt. Place the onions in a grill tray.
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
Brush the corn cobs with oil, place on the grill. With the lid down, grill the corn cobs and onions over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C) for approx. 10 mins., turning occasionally. Serve the corn cobs on a platter.
Topping
Salt the sour single cream, spread on top of the corn cobs. Add the onions, pink pepper and oregano.
