Custard toast
Ingredients
for 6 pieces
| 150 g | plain greek yoghurt |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 tbsp | maple syrup |
| 1 tsp | vanilla sugar |
| 1 pinch | salt |
| 6 slice | butter toast |
| ½ | apple, sliced |
| ½ | pear, sliced |
| 30 g | frozen blueberries, slightly defrosted |
| icing sugar, to dust | |
| 2 tbsp | maple syrup |
How it's done
Custard
Mix the yoghurt, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla sugar and salt in a bowl.
Toast
Place the slices of toast on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Press each slice down firmly in the middle with your fingers or the back of a spoon, leaving a rim of about 1 cm. Pour the custard into the hollows and spread the fruit on top.
To bake
Approx. 30 mins. in the upper half of an oven preheated to 200 °C. Remove the toast, serve lukewarm with icing sugar and maple syrup.
