Keftedakia
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 400 g | minced meat (beef and pork) |
| 2 | garlic cloves, squeezed |
| 1 | onion, finely chopped |
| 1 | egg, beaten |
| 25 g | toast bread, cut into cubes |
| 1 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
| 1 tbsp | flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped |
| 1 tbsp | peppermint, finely chopped |
| ½ tbsp | oregano, finely chopped |
| ¾ tsp | ground cumin |
| ¼ tsp | cinnamon |
| ¾ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 1 tbsp | olive oil |
How it's done
Mixture
Place the mince in a bowl, add the garlic and all the other ingredients up to and including the pepper, mix. Knead well by hand until the ingredients form a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into approx. 16 balls.
Fry
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the meatballs for approx. 6 mins. all over.
