Creamy vegan Oreo overnight oats

Total: 8 hr 10 min. | Active: 10 min.

Have you heard of overnight oats before? The oats are soaked overnight in milk and/or yoghurt and can then be eaten the following morning as a creamy porridge. I had to try out the version with Oreos. Of course, you can also add fruit to the oats as well as anything else that you like to have for breakfast.

Ingredients

for 4 person

12  Oreos
3 dl oat drink
200 g vegan plain yoghurt substitute
4 tbsp agave syrup
2 tbsp dark almond cream
200 g rolled oats
200 g vegan plain yoghurt substitute

How it's done

Remove the Oreo filling from the biscuits. Place the filling in a bowl, roughly crumble the biscuits and set aside. Add the oat milk, yoghurt, agave syrup and almond butter to the filling, stir until smooth. Mix in the oats and half of the crumbled biscuits. Transfer the mixture to 4 jars, top with the yoghurt and the remainder of the biscuits, cover and chill for approx. 8 hrs. or overnight.
