Peanut bars
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
100 g | Medjool dates, pitted, chopped |
100 g | peanut cream |
2 tbsp | maple syrup |
100 g | fine whole-grain rolled oats, roasted |
50 g | walnut kernels, coarsely chopped |
50 g | pistachios, coarsely chopped |
50 g | dried aronia berries |
How it's done
Peanut mixture
Place the dates, peanut butter and maple syrup in a food processor, puree until smooth.
Bars
In a bowl, mix the oats with all the other ingredients up to and including the aronia berries. Add the peanut mixture, mix well, transfer to the prepared tin, press down firmly, chill for approx. 30 mins. Remove the mixture from the tin, cut into approx. 12 bars.
