Baked apples with Fior di Latte Caffé

Ingredients

for 2 person

Apple rings
apple
½ tbsp ground cane sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ tbsp lemon juice
Hazelnut crumble
25 g Fine Food Nocciola Piemonte IGP
1 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp ground cane sugar
To serve
2 ball Fine Food Fior di Latte Caffé ice cream

How it's done

Apple rings

Core the apples using an apple corer, cut into 4 rings. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice, coat the apple rings with the mixture and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

To bake

Approx. 35 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180 °C. Remove from the oven, leave to cool on the tray.

Hazelnut crumble

Dry-roast the nuts and breadcrumbs in a non-stick frying pan for approx. 5 mins. Add the butter and sugar, mix and leave to cool slightly.

To serve

Place two apple rings with one scoop of ice cream on each plate, top with the crumble.
