Millet porridge with apple
Ingredients
for 2 person
| 5 dl | milk water (1/2 milk, 1/2 water) |
| 1 tbsp | sugar |
| ¼ tsp | cinnamon |
| 1 pinch | salt |
| 120 g | yellow millet |
| ½ | apple, coarsely grated |
| ½ tbsp | butter |
| ½ | apple, cut into cubes |
| 1 tsp | sugar |
| a little | cinnamon |
| 1 tbsp | lemon juice |
How it's done
Porridge
Bring the milky water, sugar, cinnamon and salt to the boil in a pan while stirring, reduce the heat. Add the millet and apple while stirring, simmer for approx. 15 mins., stirring occasionally.
Topping
Heat the butter in a pan. Add the diced apple, sauté for approx. 3 mins. Add the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice, mix. Serve the porridge in bowls, top with the diced apple.
