Millet porridge with apple

Ingredients

for 2 person

Porridge
5 dl milk water (1/2 milk, 1/2 water)
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 pinch salt
120 g yellow millet
½  apple, coarsely grated
Topping
½ tbsp butter
½  apple, cut into cubes
1 tsp sugar
a little  cinnamon
1 tbsp lemon juice

How it's done

Porridge

Bring the milky water, sugar, cinnamon and salt to the boil in a pan while stirring, reduce the heat. Add the millet and apple while stirring, simmer for approx. 15 mins., stirring occasionally.

Topping

Heat the butter in a pan. Add the diced apple, sauté for approx. 3 mins. Add the sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice, mix. Serve the porridge in bowls, top with the diced apple.
