Spaghetti with cheese sauce
Ingredients
for 2 person
½ tbsp | butter |
1 | onion, finely chopped |
½ dl | water |
150 g | Gruyère, coarsely grated |
3 tbsp | tomato puree |
1 pinch | cayenne pepper |
200 g | spaghetti |
salted water, boiling |
How it's done
Cheese sauce
Heat the butter in a pan. Add the onion, sauté for approx. 3 mins. Reduce the heat, add the water with the cheese, melt while stirring. Add the tomato puree and cayenne pepper, mix well until you have a creamy cheese sauce.
Spaghetti
Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water until just al dente, drain. Return the spaghetti to the pan, mix in the sauce, heat through.
