Caramelized apple in a jar
Ingredients
for 2 person
| 2 tbsp | sugar |
| 1 tbsp | water |
| 1 tbsp | butter |
| 1 | green apple, cut into cubes |
| 200 g | Dessert Extrafin |
| 50 g | Caramel biscuits (e.g. Lotus), crushed |
How it's done
Apple compote
Bring the sugar and water to the boil without stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer, swirling the pan occasionally until a light brown caramel has formed. Add the butter, melt, add the apple, cover and simmer for approx. 5 mins., allow to cool slightly.
Cream
Stir the Dessert Extrafin, transfer to the jars in alternate layers along with the diced apple and biscuits.
