Grilled chicken wings with honey balsamic

Ingredients

for 4 person

Marinade
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp liquid honey
4 tbsp soy sauce
¾ tsp smoked paprika
1 kg chicken wing
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
spring onions incl. green parts, halved lengthwise
1 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp salt
To serve
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

How it's done

Marinade

Combine the balsamic, honey, soy sauce and paprika in a bowl, set aside half of the marinade. Place the chicken in the bowl, mix, cover and marinate in the fridge for approx. 2 hrs.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill

Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, pat off the excess marinade. With the lid down, grill over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 25 mins., turn and brush with the reserved marinade every so often. Brush the spring onions with the oil, season with salt, grill alongside the chicken for the final 5 mins.

To serve

Serve the chicken wings with the spring onions, sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
