Grilled hot dogs

Ingredients

for 4 person

Vegetables
red peppers, cut into strips
red onions, halved, cut into strips
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Charcoal/gas/electric grill
frankfurter sausages
braided lye bread, cut lengthwise
Hot dogs
4 tbsp honey mustard
20 g rocket

How it's done

Vegetables

Place the peppers and onions in a grill tray, add the oil, season, mix.

Charcoal/gas/electric grill

With the lid down, grill the tray of vegetables over/on a medium heat (approx. 200°C) for approx. 10 mins., mixing approx. 4 times. Place the sausages alongside on the grill, cook for approx. 10 mins. Remove the sausages and vegetables from the grill, briefly grill the bread (cut side down).

Hot dogs

Cover the cut surfaces of the bread with mustard. Place the rocket and grilled vegetables on the bottom half, add a sausage and cover with the top half.
