Caramelized beetroot and figs with mozzarella
Ingredients
for 2 person
| 1 tbsp | butter |
| 1 tbsp | coarse cane sugar |
| 150 g | boiled beets, peeled, in carvings |
| 4 | figs, cut into wedges |
| 3 sprig | thyme, finely chopped |
| 2 pinch | salt |
| 125 g | Fine Food Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, in slices |
| a little | pepper |
How it's done
Beetroot and figs
Heat the butter in a pan. Add the sugar, melt. Add the beetroot, figs and thyme, cook for approx. 2 mins., season with salt.
To serve
Serve the beetroot and figs with the mozzarella, season.
