Apple and cinnamon mulled wine
Ingredients
for 1 litre
7 ½ dl | white wine (e.g. Chardonnay) |
2 ½ dl | apple juice |
2 ½ tbsp | liquid honey |
½ tsp | cinnamon |
1 | organic lemon, zest peeled with a peeler |
1 | apple, in slices |
How it's done
Mulled wine
Pour the wine into a pan along with all the other ingredients up to and including the lemon zest, bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and leave to stand for approx. 10 mins.
To serve
Reheat the mulled wine, strain, pour into glasses and decorate with the apple slices.
