Mulled wine granita
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 2 dl | Fine Food Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC Domaine de la Côte de l'Ange |
| 1 tbsp | Fine Food Miel de Fleur d'Oranger |
| 1 | organic orange, grated zest and the juice |
| ¼ tsp | gingerbread spice |
| 240 g | Fine Food Crème Vanille, stirred until smooth |
| 60 g | Fine Food Galettes aux noix, quartered |
| 2 | oranges, segmented |
| 8 | Fine Food Orangettes, finely chopped |
How it's done
Granita
Combine the wine, honey, orange zest and juice with the gingerbread spice, pour into a wide stainless steel bowl. Freeze for approx. 5 hrs., scrape the mixture approx. 5 times with a fork until grainy and frozen.
To serve
Layer the vanilla custard alternately in the glasses with the galettes and the orange segments. Scrape the granita thoroughly, serve on top, scatter with the orangettes, serve immediately.
