Onion dip
Ingredients
for 6 person
300 g | red onions (e.g. ProSpecieRara Rouge de Genève), sliced |
6 sprig | thyme |
4 | garlic cloves, sliced |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
1 tbsp | white balsamic vinegar |
1 tsp | sugar |
¼ tsp | salt |
250 g | plain organic cream cheese |
100 g | sour single cream |
salt and pepper to taste |
How it's done
Onions
Mix the onions with the remaining ingredients in the prepared tray.
To roast
Approx. 45 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 200°C, mixing 1-2 times.
Dip
Puree half of the onions with the cream cheese and sour single cream until smooth, season. Place the dip in a bowl, top with the remainder of the onions.
